There has been a change in location for this year's event. The event will now take place at:
Morehead-Rowan County Regional Airport on Hwy 801. All other aspects of the event will remain the same!
NEW this year: We will have Silent Auction Items set up at the race for you to bid on... Bring your cash and not only have a Fun Run, but take home some goodies for a great cause!
Rowan UNITE and our AWESOME olunteers are in full swing for the 5th Annual Runaway from Drugs 5K Run/Walk. This year as we celebrate 5 Years of running and walking to raise funds for substance abuse prevention in Rowan Co and Morehead, we invite EVERYONE to come out and join us for a “colorful” time of fun as we celebrate this milestone. The race will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 2013. Registration will
begin at 8:00am and race will start at 9:00am. Since we are changing the race up a bit and it is sure to be a “MESSY COLOR-FILLED EVENT” we had to enlist a new partner and friend- Morehead-Rowan County Regional Airport (on Hwy 801)
